Growing up, I was always crafting alongside my grandmom—whether it was making sugar Easter eggs or sewing water bottle holders, I couldn't get enough! As life often does, it took me on a journey, leading to long hours in a corporate career while raising three small children. There just wasn’t much time for the things I truly loved. After moving from Arizona to Minnesota, my husband switched careers and joined the Air National Guard, adding another layer of excitement to an already busy household.

Though we cherished our life, we made the bold decision to take it a step further—moving to Northern Minnesota, to a tiny town just off the Canadian border. My husband added law enforcement to his career, and I decided it was time to step away from the corporate grind and focus on what truly matters: my family and my creative passions.

In 2024, I started Humor & Heart and began creating items that I hoped would bring joy to others. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a quirky sense of humor and a healthy dose of sarcasm (sometimes maybe too much!), which shows in a lot of my work. I’m passionate about a variety of crafts, and you’ll see that reflected in my offerings—from sublimation and painting to a little bit of sewing. What I enjoy most, however, is working on custom requests and making something truly unique for each customer.

I’ve also had the privilege of working with non-profits to thank their dedicated volunteers and raise awareness for their causes. We are a member of the Safe Space Alliance. Whether online or at an in-person event, we are a place of love and acceptance for everyone and will not tolerate bullying of any kind. Additionally, I donate 10% of proceeds from my Autism Acceptance products to charities that support and bring awareness to disabilities, in support of my son who is on the Autism Spectrum.
